2011 Falcon Motorcycles Black Falcon

At some point in our lives, we might pluck down some of our hard-earned cash and make a real impulse purchase. Not on the level of an iPad or even a new HDTV, but somewhere along the lines of a motorcycle. When that time comes, we’re going to take a real good look at Falcon Motorcycle’s latest two-wheeled masterpiece: the Black Falcon.

Making its debut at this year’s Quail Motorcycle Gathering, the Black Falcon was originally built as a Vincent Black Shadow, but thanks to the enterprising and ingenious minds of Falcon Motorcycle, the bike has been turned into a real drag-strip raven. Construction of the bike took a year to make with every piece of the bike stripped down and retooled to make it look the way it does now: sexy, sleek, and downright spicy.

After all the work was done, the result was a lighter and more balanced bike that produces 75 horsepower with two available gas tanks for travel and racing purposes and a top speed of 140 mph. Blasting off along the highway on a bike like this at well over 100 mph may not be the safest way to go about riding the Black Falcon, but speed junkies like us sometimes need to have our fix.

Otherwise, what’s the point of having an awesome bike?

Av...!!!
